Calm, Clarity, and Confidence Through Perimenopause - Even on Your Busiest Days

Perimenopause can bring unexpected changes: brain fog, mood shifts, disrupted sleep, anxiety, and moments where your body feels unfamiliar.

You don’t have to navigate it alone.

Certified mindfulness teacher Louise Ames is developing a 6-session webinar experience designed to help women move through perimenopause with steadiness, understanding, and practical mindfulness tools.

A Different Kind of Support for Perimenopause

Perimenopause often arrives quietly, yet it can affect nearly every aspect of daily life.

Hot flashes.
Mood swings.
Brain fog.
Interrupted sleep.
Unexpected anxiety.

For many women, the most difficult part isn’t just the symptoms - it’s the feeling of navigating them without a clear map.

The Lumen Method™ was created to offer that map.

Through guided mindfulness practices and research-informed insights, the program helps you develop practical ways to stay grounded, understand what’s happening in your body and mind, and respond with steadiness instead of overwhelm.

What the Lumen Method™ Will Offer

The upcoming program will include six one-hour sessions, each designed to stand on its own so you can benefit even if life gets busy.

Each session includes:

• A short personal introduction and context
• Research explaining the practice
• A guided mindfulness exercise or meditation
• Practical ways to incorporate the practice into daily life
• A simple commitment to practice between sessions

You’ll leave each session with a clear tool you can use immediately.

Created by Someone Who’s Been There

Hi, I’m Louise Ames.

I’m a certified mindfulness teacher and the founder of The Blossoming Parent.

When I began experiencing perimenopause, I was surprised by how disorienting it could feel - brain fog, exhaustion, emotional shifts, and moments where my body felt unfamiliar.

What helped me most wasn’t trying to fix everything immediately.

It was returning to mindfulness: bringing attention to the present moment, again and again, with patience and curiosity.

Over time, these practices became a steady foundation during a time of change.

The Lumen Method™ grows out of that experience, combined with the research and teaching tools I’ve developed through my work in mindfulness.

What Is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is often described as relaxation, but it’s actually something deeper.

Mindfulness is consciously bringing awareness into the present moment to be in touch with the purest form of reality.

It’s the level of attention we’re able to offer to what is happening right now that allows us to meet the truth of our experience - without exaggeration, avoidance, or judgment.

In times of transition, such as perimenopause, this kind of awareness becomes especially valuable.

It creates space between sensation and reaction, helping the nervous system settle and allowing clarity to return.

Who This Program Is For

This upcoming webinar series is designed for women who:

• Are experiencing or suspect they may be entering perimenopause
• Feel unsettled by changes in mood, sleep, or cognitive clarity
• Want practical, grounded tools to support their well-being
• Are open to mindfulness but don’t need previous experience

No meditation background is required.

Just curiosity and a willingness to pause.

Perimenopause is a transition.

Like many transitions in life,
it can feel uncertain at first.

But with the right support and practices, it can also become a time of greater awareness, resilience, and self-understanding.

The Lumen Method™ was created to help guide that process - one moment of attention at a time.

The Lumen Method™ is a mindfulness-based educational program and does not replace medical care. Please consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns.
